Project Details:

The New City Beautiful I is a 50-metre mural that brings vibrant colour to the Green Square streetscape. Designed by Nuha Saad, the mural features a repeating pattern inspired by the colour wheel, transitioning from greens and blues to yellows, oranges, reds, and purples. Painted by The Art of Wall, the mural adds kinetic energy to the evolving urban environment, creating a dynamic and colourful focal point.

The mural’s design enhances the identity of Green Square, contributing to the area’s transformation and fostering a sense of place. Its colours flow seamlessly, reflecting both harmony and movement, and encouraging interaction with the space. The Art of Wall team worked closely with Saad to ensure the mural’s visual impact, using high-quality, durable materials for lasting vibrancy.

The Art of Wall acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and create. In Brookvale, we pay our respects to the Gayamaygal people of the Guringai Nation, and across the greater Sydney region, we acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation and the many other First Nations communities whose Country we travel through and paint on.
We honour their ongoing connection to land, waters, culture, and storytelling—and extend our respects to Elders past and present.
