Dennis Golding’s ‘Following the Pathways’ mural painted by Leia Sidery at Intermain HQ in Sydney

Following the Pathways

Project Overview
The Art of Wall was proud to bring Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding’s powerful vision to life in this 90m² mural, Following the Pathways, installed at Intermain’s new headquarters in Sydney. Painted by muralist Leia Sidery, this large-scale work reflects Golding’s connection to Country and invites viewers to consider the shared histories embedded in the land where the building stands.

Project Details
Curated by Curatorial+Co. and designed in collaboration with BVN Architecture, the mural celebrates First Nations perspectives through powerful symbolism and a bold, contemporary aesthetic. The Art of Wall worked closely with the artist and design team to ensure every detail was executed with precision, sensitivity, and care.

Leia Sidery’s expert application and deep understanding of working at scale were instrumental in delivering this monumental piece. Her intuitive approach ensured that the artwork not only honored the artist’s vision but also activated the space with lasting impact.

This mural project was a seamless intersection of public art, architecture, and cultural storytelling—a shared effort to create spaces that inspire connection and conversation.

We respectfully acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, traditional custodians of the land on which this mural stands.

The Art of Wall acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and create. In Brookvale, we pay our respects to the Gayamaygal people of the Guringai Nation, and across the greater Sydney region, we acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation and the many other First Nations communities whose Country we travel through and paint on.
We honour their ongoing connection to land, waters, culture, and storytelling—and extend our respects to Elders past and present.
